So I put on some Sigur Ros and told myself that I was just going to paint and not care. And this whale kind of came into place. I really like it. I feel like it’s really genuine since as of late a lot of my art seems to be not so genuine. I don’t know. I’ve had issues connecting. I think this brought back a really grounded feeling that I’d like to capture in the future. Per usual, don’t steal. <3

Wow. This actually turned out pretty good. I was just feeling the need to sketch and this came out. Woo! I know I need to push value and add more color and such. But it’s a sketch. So I don’t care.
I don’t really know who she is or where she came from but I really like her. I hope she doesn’t go away.

Honestly the first sketch of the summer I haven’t deleted within like ten minutes. I think cause I was scared to go past 10 minutes. I wanted to keep this for some reason. I don’t really know what it is. But. I feel like I need to stop deleting sketches and just keep them. I want to feel like I’ve done something…by not deleting. But I also feel like I’m doing sub-par work which conjures the urge to delete. It’s a weird place.

O2V which is a show at the BINDERY space has consumed my life for the past few months. So has fabric and work. But mostly O2V. But I get to do fabric in O2V. Super excited about that. And it has also totally cancelled any time I had to work on art. Which sucks. But oh well. Soon I’ll get back to that long list of things I’d like to do. But here’s some photos!

Everything is up and running, finally. Portfolio is up and ready to be viewed. Resume, Bio, and Contact information updated. Business card uploaded to Contact Me page. I can now work on some personal art. I’m thinking of revisiting Vanessa. I really liked her character from The Monkey’s Magic Eyeball but I felt really rushed in making her. I think I might go back and re-work her a bit. I’m also gonna start heavy editing of Sand Diary soon. Which may or may not include a complete re-write. We shall see.
